Civil Twilight – Series No. 1

The Belt of Venus is an atmospheric phenomenon visible shortly after sunset during the first stage of twilight. Sunlight scattered by fine particulates cause the subtle rosy glow. It is a more vivid pink in the winter. In the summer it appears faded and dim above the yellowish-orange band.
